WHAT
WE FORGET TO SEE
As we
approach the end of days we are guided to radio watchmen
who tell us of falling comets, the New World Order, the
breaking of our Constitution, the lawlessness, and many
other eyebrow raising events. There are flying Space
Ships, Christian heresies, false doctrines, and of
course the Me-Monster prosperity gospels. These are a
few of the subjects and data that are put before our
eyes so we see everything through the world's eyes. I
myself have been guilty of this a lot. But I would ask
you...are these the things the Savior would have us
concentrate on? Don't get me wrong, these are important,
but are they prioritized in sequence with the Christ?
I
often wonder if we really lift our hands to the Heavens
and pray, what would our Father ask of us? Can it be
like Ezekiel 2:1-2 "And He said to me, Son of man,
stand up upon your feet, and I will speak to you. And
the spirit entered into me when He spoke to me, and set
me upon my feet, that I heard Him that spoke to me."
I too
am a talk show host who warns the people of what is
coming. But the Lord is changing my focus from views of
the storm to views within the storm. We are so busy
looking at the storm that we sometimes forget to look at
those who will be affected by the storm. As remnant
Christians (hopefully this is you reading this) we know
the end of days are upon us and that the seasons are
changing quickly. But many out there do not believe and
do not heed the word that is being given. Can you blame
them? Some of the words given are nuttier than a walnut
tree. (I.E I-35 Highway to Holiness, Cindy Jacobs.) The
Lord is directing me and wanting me to direct those who
listen to me to hear His Words. The Lord Jesus in past
in present and in future will always be about His
people. His word can calm any storm, stop any
catastrophe, and destroy any enemy. Are we concentrating
too much on the storm that annihilates or should we
concentrate more on the one who removes the storm that
annihilates? Should we concentrate more on hearing our
Savior than listening to the frightening words of the
world? Ezekiel 3:10 "Moreover He said to me, Son of man,
all My words that I shall speak to you receive in your
heart, and hear with your ears."
Most
of us who have encountered the Spirit of the Lord within
us understand that Jesus never stutters. "Peter, do you
love me? Feed my sheep." Notice when Jesus speaks to
Peter these three very intense times He does not
say..."Peter, the sky is falling! The sky is falling!
The end of days are upon us!" No, Jesus had an intimate
conversation with one of His closest followers and
shared His heart, what was most important to Him. If we
stay with the propaganda of Fox news, we will know one
thing...We will know...FEAR!!! The industrial war
machine has only begun. But I am reminded of a word from
the Lord that my son received while we were
praying just the other night:
"The
lamb is about to turn into the Lion to conquer and to
protect." The Lord also said, "The wine that is within
Me is the true wine."
These
are strong words. We must heed them not only in our
ears, but they must enter our hearts to do any changes
that we might need. We are so busy looking at the storm
approaching that we sometimes forget to look within the
storm so we know how to prepare those for the storm. For
those that are in the know it is our duty to our Savior
to reach as many souls as humanly possible. There will
be spiritual intervention and supernatural signs. But
this will not be the focus. The focus must be on the
heart of mankind and to reach this hurting nation and
quit striking it with our Religious baseball bats. The
world is sick of the religious crap! The Christian
church is no more than a road block to a passage in
which the Lord would want us to travel. It is time for
the remnant to pull up it's boot straps and begin to
fight this spiritual war. Fast and pray and ask the Lord
what He would have you do. We must not forget to see,
the hurting, the lost, the doubtful, the rejected, the
world. We must remember that honey can attract many
bears. The Christian "one up you, I'm full of pride"
ministry statements are about to dissipate. The
religious system is about to fall like a house of cards.
And the Lord Jesus will be the wind to those cards.
Love
covers a multitude of sin. Forgiving others changes the
options. The joy of the Lord, is our strength.
Compassion should be a part of our passion. One
encompasses the other. I write these words in love and
in truth. If you heed these words, you will grow and
blossom and change. Stay out of comfort, for it is a
death bed. And once again...be reminded of what you're
forgetting to see.
